Short version: learn to dodge, open every door, unlock the Wanderer by talking to the old man, gather herbs and mushrooms, use the gear you want to level, and destroy the sacks before fighting the Spider Matriarch. Press Press
Your first session, step by step
- Set up before you start. Pick keyboard and mouse or a controller, check language and resolution in options, and install on an SSD if you can.
- Learn dodge and enemy tells. Enemies telegraph attacks; dodge in any direction instead of trading hits.
- Open every door. Rooms are hidden until you open or break the door. Side rooms and tough enemies drop gear.
- Unlock the Wanderer from Adeos. Talk to the old man who explains the Vitromotus to unlock your first class and its skills, Focus Strike and Swift Foot.
- Gather as you go. Pick herbs and mushrooms for survival experience and crafting materials.
- Use what you want to level. Classes, weapons and armor gain mastery through use, so equip what you want to grow.
- Beat the first boss by destroying the sacks. The Spider Matriarch heals by eating from sacks around the arena. Destroy them first, then dodge her web and charge.
